What are Silver Mirrors?
Why do foreign cosmetic companies choose Silver Mirrors? There's a reason that Chanel, Lancome, Shiseido, Estee Lauder and other famous foreign cosmetic companies choose silver Mirrors. The reason is the rate of reflection and color quality.
The rate of reelection for standard aluminum mirrors from other companies 85% while the rate of reflection with silver mirrors is 95% which gives them beautiful clarity, clear reflection for better use with cosmetics because of a truer, more life-like reflection. Nowadays famous foreign cosmetic brands are competing for the market and buying our silver mirrors. Hankuk Corp, Ltd. wants to help the women of the world take care of their beauty with a clearer mirror.
- We produce and sell [HK cosmetic and silver mirrors] such as compact. eye-shadow, two way cake and hand mirrors by computerized numeric control(CNC) automated coating, cutting, grinding, polishing, washing and drying and can also produce seven different shapes of mirrors of circle, oval, rectangule and square type. Our company's [HK silver cosmetic mirros] are unique for their rate of visual refectance and chromaticity providing our customers with the "Only one mirrors" in the world which has over 95% of reappearance and color quality.
- Spectral reflectance : The long wavelength offered by our [HK mirrors] provides the customers with 95% exact reflection. This true reproduction helps to provide exact face shape, skin quality and aids in putting on make-up. The spectral effect our mirrors provide make our mirrors the most excellent in the world.
- Color reproduction : The warm-color family(yellowish-red tone) can be reproduced excellently. This spectral property affects the color reproduction of the human face, skin tone, and make up cosmetics with warm and soft feeling.
- Our quality, proces, delivery and reliability are second to none in the world. [HK SIlver Mirrors] are very excellent and made to 1/100 in exactness within 0.01mm during production.

Process Technology

We producemany kinds of Mirror, circles, ovals, acute angles and so on with in an average exact ness of 1/100 because of our cutting system, the process of our grinding technology, smooth, beautiful makes it possible to produce excellent Mirrors, Hankuk Corp., Ltd. is the first Company in the world to introduce the new renovated CNC system for acute angles. Our system uses automatic equipment for the cutting, grinding and polishing process. We have developd the world's best cosmetic Mirrors through our core technology and processing.

For the low Spectral refiectance in the long wavelengh range, the iamge gives a cold and hard impression. Not suitable as a cosmetic mirrors for the faces, skins, and make-up cosmetics.

Spectral reflectance in the long wavelength range is high. This mirror gives a precise and abundant color reproduction in teh warm color region something kike faces and skins.

Warm color family - YR(yellowish-red) tone can be reproduced excellently. This spectral property affects the color reproduction of the laces. skins and make-up cosmetics with warm and soft feeling.

shows the spectroscopic comparison between silver and aluminum mirror. As we can see in the Figure, in the long wavelength range over the 500nm, the difference of the spectralreflectances between the two mirrors was greater than 10% . And in the UV range silver mirror shows a remarkable capability to cut off UV. When we compare the visual reflectance. there is something that should be kept in mind. The Y value of CIE XYZ means the relative quantity of the reflected light from the mirror. There is some thing different between the visual reflectance and the brightness that people fee actually and measured with psychophysical method. The brightness. perceived psychophysical quantity, is coincident with L* value of CIE LAB.
